A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the first batch of generation 2 (Gen2) Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Dec. 28, 2022. The first stage of the rocket landed on a drone ship at sea several minutes after separation.
