Two-Thirds Of US Workers Suffer From The “Sunday Scaries”

A new survey by LinkedIn has found that 66% of professionals in the US experience the “Sunday Scaries”. The Sunday Scaries are the feelings of anxiety a person experiences on a Sunday night before returning to work on Monday. Nearly 3,000 Americans took part in the survey. 41% of respondents said that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused or worsened the anxiety they feel on Sunday evenings. Millenial and Gen Z workers were the most likely to experience the Sunday Scaries. 78% of people from these groups reported experiencing pre-work stress on Sundays. However, career experts say that the Sunday Scaries are not necessarily a sign that you need to change job. The experts recommend making a work plan on Sunday night or organizing something to look forward to on Monday
