A dog struck up a sweet relationship with his neighbor – bringing her random objects off the street each day in exchange for treats and friendship. For more than two years, Noona, a five-year-old pooch, has brought neighbor Meren, 26, the likes of twigs, stones, leaves and anything else he can find to exchange for food. Meren lives in a small town called Mokokchung, in Nagaland, India, and only recently did she start sharing clips of her daily interactions with Noona. Each time Noona brings Meren an object, who then gives the dog back an item of food – a "barter system" that Meren has dubbed a "pawter system." By sharing such videos, Noona hopes to promote the message of loving one's neighbors and also being kind to animals.
