Bride-To-Be Plans Scavenger Hunt On Bachelorette To Reveal Pregnancy

A bride-to-be gave her best friends a huge surprise with a scavenger hunt at her bachelorette party revealing her pregnancy news. When Mikayla Lynch, from Limerick, Pennsylvania, discovered she was pregnant in May, she couldn't wait to tell her friends and family. Given this was her first child, she first told her close family and maid of honor, Mackenzie Mitchell, who she wanted to tell because of her upcoming bachelorette party in Grove Beach, Connecticut. Mackenzie, 24, was tasked with planning activities for the trip, and so she and Mikayla wanted to make sure there were ways that the bride-to-be could secretly avoid drinking, and, most importantly, break the news to all of her friends. For the group's arrival, Mackenzie cleverly disguised an alcohol-free bottle of wine to match the color theme for the party, which allowed Mikayla to look like she was drinking from a custom-made bottle without raising suspicion. Then, for an evening activity, Mackenzie planned a scavenger hunt, for which she had worked out a route using the pictures of the rental property that she had been provided. The group followed clues, with each one of Mikayla's friends getting an opportunity to read a card, which contained a poem as a clue. Then, Mikayla was asked to read out the final clue, which revealed her news and saw her show the group a sonogram she had been keeping in her pocket.
