A U.S. Marine came home early from training to surprise his girlfriend by proposing in the middle of a photo shoot she thought she’d won but he secretly set up to capture the moment. Zach Blackburn, 24, had told girlfriend Bri Chasmar, 21, he was due back on the weekend but scheduled his flight three days earlier so he could surprise her. He went to great lengths to keep his whereabouts a secret, even taking photos near his base in Twentynine Palms, California, and having a friend log into his social media and send them to Bri. Zach, from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, spoke to photographer friend Bailey Troutt who created a fake online competition to win a shoot which Zach suggested Bri enter and sent her the link. After Bri ‘won’ the photo shoot - perfectly scheduled just after Zach secretly arrived home - Zach also asked if the moment could be captured on video so videographer Hannah Cohron joined them on the shoot. When Zach landed, he met up with Bailey and Hannah and went to the field they were shooting in and matted down some grass where they planned to move her when it was time to propose. As Bri was due to arrive he then hid low behind some hay bales close to the spot and waited while they did some photos and video of Bri for about 30 minutes so she wouldn’t suspect. *PLEASE NOTE AUDIO TRACK NOT CLEARED FOR LICENSING - USE OWN TRACK*
