Tech billionaire Elon Musk has said he will sell Tesla stock if shown proof it would solve world hunger. Musk made the claim after the director of the United Nations' World Food Programme urged him to make a difference. When speaking to CNN, David Beasley called on Musk and Jeff Bezos to reconsider where they put their money. "$6 billion to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don't reach them. It's not complicated," David Beasley, Director Of The United Nations' World Food Programme. Musk responded on Twitter, saying that if WFP could describe how $6 billion would solve the problem, he would do it. However, Musk added that it would have to be open source accounting so that the public can see how the money is spent. $6 billion is approximately 2% of Musk's wealth.
