Nurses Sing To Girl Hospitalized During Birthday Party

A four-year-old girl who was hospitalized during her birthday party received a wholesome surprise when staff headed into her cubicle and sang "Happy Birthday" while presenting her with gifts. Moxie Weir, from Austin, Texas, had been attending her birthday dinner when her mom, Lexi, noticed she had a bad rash on her ears, mouth and back. Not wanting to take any chances, Lexi brought Moxie to Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, where staff took care of her while the reaction subsided. When one nurse then found out it was Moxie's birthday, staff decided to buy her a coloring book and other gifts, which they surprised her with while singing "Happy Birthday."
