'The Canoe': A Film Celebrating the Simple Joy of Paddling

The canoe may be the most iconic watercraft of all time, so it's easy to understand why filmmaker Goh Iromoto paid homage to this vessel in his recent film, The Canoe. The story is told from the perspective of paddlers across Ontario and underscores the connection between the human spirit and paddling canoes. As an avid canoeist himself, Iromoto wanted to dedicate a piece of work to the activity that has given him so much in return. He writes this to his viewers, "To all the paddlers out there (and to those who want to start), this film is for you. Keep on paddling."
