Gender Reveal Twist As Mexican Band Replace Balloons

A couple confused after discovering colorless balloons during their gender reveal party were left stunned then a full Mexican band arrived to reveal the news in a unique way. Janet Lopez, 23, and her fiancé Jorge Leyva, 25, were shocked when they opened a box of balloons to reveal the gender of their baby, only to discover they were white not blue or pink. Janet and Jorge looked confused, but before they had time to process things, music started playing in the distance and around the corner came a complete Banda. A Banda is a term to designate a genre of regional Mexican music and the musical ensemble in which wind instruments, mostly of brass and percussion, are performed. As the group entered the family's backyard, in Port Chester, New York, pink smoke then began to rise into the sky from the instruments, letting the couple know they are due to have a girl. Janet and Jorge hugged with tears in their eyes as friends and family cheered the news. According to Janet, she and Jorge had no idea about the surprise her mother, who had been tasked with organizing the gender reveal, had in store for them.
