Amazing Restaurant Built Inside Abandoned Aeroplane

Customers at this quirky restaurant could be forgiven for hoping the prices weren’t sky-high - as it is set in an abandoned aeroplane. Kermas Aero Park, in Gianyar, Bali, was meticulously restored by its owners and refashioned into a swanky dining experience. The 1985-built Boeing 737-400 series was transported to the plot set among beautiful rice fields and with views over the sea to the distance. It has since become a huge hit with locals and tourists alike, serving up dishes of both local Balinese cuisine and western favourites, including steak. And Diners can catch the spectacular views out of the cabin windows, as well as take a seat in the original cockpit seats to pose for photos. A ‘boarding pass’ for different flight classes is available - each bagging you a different set menu, which sets you back IDR 250,000 (around $18 USD).
