A girl who lost her beloved stuffed toy during a house move was reunited with it thanks to a kind-hearted gesture. Avalon’s family relocated from their home in California after her father was moved to a different military base. They spent time in two temporary lodgings before finally making the big move to his new base in Hawaii. But somewhere along the way with the multiple house moves, Avalon’s beloved soft toy, Violet, went missing. Despite her mom’s best efforts to try and locate her, they never did. A saddened Avalon kept asking her mom where Violet was – even hoping Santa would bring her one for Christmas. So, in desperation, her mom Jennifer Mulcahy looked online, but the toy – which they had bought at Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim, an activity centre for kids – wasn’t available online, only in store. Now located in Hawaii, Jenn contacted them to see if there was anyone to have one shipped to their new home – and to her amazement, one arrived the next day. Upon opening the parcel, an overjoyed Avalon lets how a high-pitched scream as she realizes she’s been reunited with ‘Violet’. Hugging it, she thanks the people who sent her Violet back.
