A mom on a video call to her daughter can’t believe her eyes she realizes she has travelled across the continent to surprise her and is standing outside their family home. As soon as Jade Anola-Pukkila turned around the camera to reveal her mom Sointu's home, her mother's face dropped in complete shock. Jade, 29, lives in Malaga, Spain, while her mom still lives in Helsinki, Finland, where Jade grew up. Jade has been living abroad for around five years - first in Malta and then, for the past one-and-a-half years in Spain. Ahead of the surprise, which took place on June 29, Jade had not seen her mother for nine months. Jade admits she is a very spontaneous person, and one day, on a video call to Sointu, the pair said how much they missed each other, and Jade decided she would impulsively purchase a flight. For a few days before the surprise, Jade postponed her regular calls with her mom, in case she would let something slip or the look on her face could give something away.
