Unlock Delhi: Schools, gyms to reopen, hotels to function till 11 PM | Full list of guidelines

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority has announced a slew of revised COVID guidelines after a meeting chaired by Delhi L-G Anil Baijal. From February 7, schools for Classes 9 to 12 will be reopened while following a hybrid model. If cases continue to decline, schools will be allowed to run on a hybrid mode only in the coming days. Schools for Nursery to Class VIII will be reopened from February 14. Till then, all the schools should make arrangements and implement Covid protocols. Teachers who are unvaccinated will not be permitted to take classes. Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also announced that all higher educational institutions, colleges, ITIs, polytechnic and skill institutes will open from Monday and will only take offline classes. Offices have been allowed to operate at 100% attendance from Monday. Restaurants have been allowed to remain open till 11 pm, instead of the earlier 10 pm deadline. Restrictions on gyms, spas and swimming pools have also been lifted. Watch for more details.
