Pete Alonso directed all contractual questions toward his agent when he met the media in Port St. Lucie on Wednesday, but made it crystal clear that he loves being a New York Met and playing for the team's fanbase. With regard to the future, Pete says he doesn't know what it holds, but is "really happy and fortunate to be here." With teammate Jeff McNeil signed to an extension last month, many speculate that an Alonso deal could be soon to follow.
