This is the adorable moment a once-anxious rescue dog couldn’t hide her excitement as she finally saw a BONE for the first time. Lovable Lydia looked on in shock as she came across the object on the floor, initially looking confused before excitedly bouncing around the bone and barking loudly. Lydia had lived a troubled life in the years up until that point, not seeing light for two-and-a-half years, her owners said, having been found in a closed box under a bridge in New Mexico. At the age of three, she was then adopted from Rescue Every Dog by Angel Sampson, 35, and her boyfriend, Mike Garcia, 37, who live in Tacoma, Washington. A U.S. Navy veteran, Angel had been suffering with anxiety and depression, and so, following the December 2016 adoption, the pair would help each other grow once more. It was difficult to get Lydia, 5, to even go outside and receive toys and treats because of her PTSD, Angel said. Angel discovered the poodle bouncing around the couple's living room, hopping around the unexpected object, which most dogs take for granted.
