In the adorable videos on his Instagram account, 4-year-old star Charlie can be seen returning to his board again and again, owner Karen Kiser helping him repeat the joyous process. Through posting such videos, Karen, 56, from Inverness, California, hopes to spread a positive message and meet other bird enthusiasts, as she purchased the blue pacific parrotlet to stop her from falling into a “deep depression.” Karen suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, and so she purchased Charlie as a means of providing a routine that would keep her active.
