A beloved wife cried with pride when her husband of 11 years got down on one knee and proposed to her with an upgraded version of her wedding ring. Victor Godoy, 35, from Los Angeles, California, had tears in his eyes, too, having married his wife, Katherine, more than a decade ago in a modest wedding. At the time, Katherine, 35 – who runs a wedding photography and videography company with Victor – had a three-year-old daughter and was pregnant with her and Victor's first child. When Victor initially proposed, he admitted "it was not the most magical one, nor the biggest ring, but I got what I could afford at that moment." Eleven years later, and with Victor now having a stepdaughter and two daughters of his own, he decided he wanted to upgrade his wife’s wedding ring as a show of his love. Victor decided it would be fitting to have the couple's children involved, too, so he asked them to be his personal videographers and initially planned to propose again in a restaurant. After nerves kicked in on the pair's anniversary, on April 5, though, Victor opted for a spot at the top of a parking lot instead. He handed his eight-year-old his phone and encouraged the other two children to start recording, too.
