Man Escapes From Straightjacket While On A Slackline

Onlookers at a Los Angeles beach couldn’t believe their eyes when a performing slackliner escaped from a straightjacket in the middle of the line - a trick those present said they had never seen before. The trick was extremely difficult to attempt, performers said, given how important the use of one's arms is when balancing on the thin line. The moment was captured by Bob Chapin, 57, who happened to be walking along the beach at Santa Monica, on January 9. The area is a hotspot for slackliners, Bob, a stuntman, said, and on that day a 21-year-old named Anthony Garibay was one of the slackliners performing. To the onlookers' amazement, Anthony hopped onto the line and completed the trick in a matter of minutes – Bob capturing the entire moment on video.
