McDonald's Employee Rousing Rendition Of Anthem On July 4th

A McDonald’s employee in small-town America brought customers to their feet during a beautiful rousing rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner on Independence Day. In the close-knit community of Spencer, Iowa, which has a population of about 11,000, Andrew Wallace and his fellow workers were determined to give their customers a great July 4th. Originally Andrew was just planning on playing music for his colleagues to celebrate Independence Day but after wowing them, one of the managers suggested he play for the guests. As he steps out and begins playing, customers stop eating and stand for them anthem, remove their hats and listen quietly before giving Andrew, aged 17, a round of applause at the end. Andrew, who has been playing violin for about 12 years, surprised customers various times throughout the day with his beautiful performance.
