A woman got more than she bargained for when she threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain in Rome and made a wish, as she then opened her eyes to find her boyfriend had gotten down on one knee her dream proposal. They say you should never let people know what you wish for, but 23-year-old Mikayla from Long Island, New York, said, "it’s safe to say that the fountain worked fast." The moment was captured on video by Mikalya's mom and friend as her boyfriend, Giovanni, 24, got down on one knee and popped the question at the tourist hotspot, which is known for people making wishes of finding love. The location was special to Mikayla, too, as she grew up coming to Italy every summer because her father was born and raised there.
