A couple travelling through Colorado were shocked to see their path blocked - by a 2000 strong herd of sheep travelling in the opposite direction. Mike and Melissa Morgan were driving between Montrose and Carbondale in the Centennial State when they saw the mass of bleating sheep on the horizon. A white pick-up truck in front had already been forced to stop, with cars on the other side of the road swamped in sheep slowly moving down the single land highway. At one point, Mike exclaims: “I’ve got to say, this is a new one for us!” As the camera pans around, the huge group of sheep slowly leap about the road as a cowboy on a quad bike ushers them to hurry up. And as one wave of sheep ends, another can be seen further down the road, behind a trail of cars inching along.
