Adorable Toddler Helps Parents Build Forever Home

A mom who lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic and was left without daycare for her one-year-old enlisted the youngster’s help in building their new family home. Both Melody Raines and her fiancé, Eric Arnold, work in construction, but on March 13, Melody lost her job, leaving her without daycare options for young daughter Annabelle Arnold. Two years ago, Melody, 37, and Eric, 35, purchased some land in Sweet Springs, Missouri, where they broke ground on their forever home back in November 2019. With the plan to move in later this year, Annabelle has been enlisted to help her parents make the home a reality. In the adorable footage Annabelle can be seen handing her father nails, sweeping the floor, and proudly walking around what will one day become the family’s home.
