Smokey Bear, America’s beloved wildfire prevention icon and the longest-running PSA campaign, visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Smokey Bear, alongside members of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the Ad Council, is celebrating eight decades of educating Americans about the role they play in preventing unwanted human-caused wildfires. In honor of the occasion, John Scott, Ranger for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, rings the Opening Bell alongside Smokey.
