Dave Chappelle Called A "Bigot" During Visit To Old High School

During a question and answer session at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, a 16-year-old student supposedly called Dave Chappelle a “bigot”. The teenager reportedly told the comedian that he is “childish”. According to Politico, Chappelle responded by saying that the student couldn’t make one of the decisions he has to make “on a given day”. The controversial comedian supposedly brought a camera crew to the Q&A session and was greeted with a mixture of cheers and boos. When responding to a question Chappelle allegedly told the students that he is “better than” every instrumentalist and artist in the school. however, he supposedly noted that this “will change” and said that some of the students will be “household names soon”. A student told Politico that when the comedian turned to speak to the camera “his whole tone changed”. The student said there was “no reason to be mean to us” and claimed that Chappelle was just “laughing at kids”.
