CVS Hiring 25,000 For Flu Season

CVS Health said Monday that it plans to add 25,000 retail and clinical jobs as it prepares for the flu season. Additionally, the pharmacy retailer expects to administer COVID-19 vaccine boosters as part of government rollouts for the elderly and immunocompromised. The company recently raised its minimum wage in an effort to attract more employees, especially managers, for its retail locations. As part of this effort, there will be a virtual hiring campaign on September 24th. CVS stock was trading around $84 in early activity.
