A 100-year-old assisted living facility resident has received an outpouring of love after she got up during an activity session and was the only one partying on the dance floor. Despite her fellow residents opting to remain seated while the music played, centurion Sylvia decided to get up and bust a few moves like no-one was watching. The moment took place December 10 and was later shared on the social pages of Amber Court Assisted Living, in Westbury, New York, where Sylvia currently lives. According to assisted living facility staff, before attending the living facility, Sylvia had only danced once in her life, at her daughter's wedding. She and her husband had even met at a dancehall, but Sylvia admitted that she wasn't a dancer. At the assisted living community, though, Sylvia was met with regular live performers, which, in turn, encouraged her to give dancing a try. According to staff, other residents at Amber Court love Sylvia and her dance performances.
