Police are currently at the scene of a collision in Great Yarmouth. Officers were called to Regent Road shortly before 3.45pm this afternoon (Tuesday 8 March) following reports of a collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian. Emergency services attended the scene and the pedestrian, an elderly woman was taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious injuries. A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He was taken to the Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. Delays are expected and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
