NYPD’s Aviation Unit rescues a man suffering from seizures onboard a shipping vessel

Members of the NYPD’s Aviation Unit on Thursday rescued a man who was having seizures on a vessel in a shipping channel that connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Port of New York, video provided to The Post shows. The United States Coast Guard requested that the department send a helicopter to help retrieve the 43-year-old from a construction support vessel in the Ambrose Channel just before 5 a.m., police said.
