On Tuesday, protesters stood outside the Utah governor's mansion to speak out against a detention center coming to the state. Gov. Spencer Cox has previously said he's open to the idea of a facility in the state. "Sites will undergo community impact studies and a rigorous due diligence process to make sure there is no hardship on local utilities or infrastructure prior to purchase," an ICE spokesperson said.
