Rep. Ro Khanna Holds Roundtable with Epstein Survivors and Advocates

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and other Democratic lawmakers held a roundtable with survivors of sexual abuse by the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and advocates from anti-trafficking organizations. The event took place before King Charles' May 28, 2026, address later in the day before a joint meeting of Congress. Rep. Khanna said King Charles declined to meet privately with survivors but would address them in his speech. Survivors spoke about their experiences with Epstein and discussed steps to prevent similar abuse in the future. Family members of Virginia Roberts Giuffre also spoke in support of proposed bill named after their sister, Virginia's Law, which would eliminate the statute of limitations for victims of child sex abuse.
