Fresh clashes erupted between Pakistan and Taliban fighters along the restive border. The Taliban blamed Pakistan for initiating the firing on Afghan side and said that clashes erupted after Pakistan Army's bid to erect a post near border fence. A Taliban deputy spokesperson said when their officials approached Pakistan Army, they were fired upon, leading to casualties.
