Ann Widdecombe joins Brexit Party after leaving Tories to stand in European elections

Former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe has joined the Brexit Party and will stand in the European elections. Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage confirmed Ms Widdecombe had joined on Wednesday morning, saying she would be the lead candidate for the South West.
