Venezuela's vice president gave a defiant statement hours after Nicolás Maduro and his wife were captured, ascribing a "zionist tint" to the action. Delcy Rodriguez hosted an emergency meeting of the Venezuela's National Defense Council alongside senior regime officials, in which she demanded the immediate release of Maduro and his wife Celia Flores.
