We compared our bodies to Barbie. Here's what the doll would look like in real life.

How realistic is the body of a barbie doll? Not very. If you scale her up to the height of the average American woman, her waist is about half the size. Plus, her feet are so tiny that she’d likely lose her balance and be forced to walk on all fours. In 2016, Barbie's maker Mattel released a handful of new sizes, including Curvy Barbie, which are more representative of real-life body diversity. But some experts say these dolls are still far from perfect.
