By the age of 25, I'd had cancer, I'd been clinically dead twice. I got diagnosed with HIV whilst I was doing drag. My medical records have to be wheeled out in a trolley. I think if I hadn't been doing drag -- I don't know what. I went down a really dark path when I got diagnosed. I already suffer from clinical depression and anxiety. I think drag definitely saved my life.
