Citizens of Oxford and Lafayette County celebrated Mardi Gras around Oxford's historic Courthouse Square on March 1, 2022. The parade began at St. Peter's Episcopal Church's parking lot, circled around the Square and back at the church. Parade participants played music, danced and threw beads at spectators.
