Salman Khan’s Bharat has gone beyond everybody’s expectation and has made a staggering 42 crores plus on its first day. The film that had a big worldwide release also became the highest opener of the year. With collections as huge as this, Bharat left Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40 crores) behind to become Bhai’s biggest opener. It is interesting to note that despite India playing its first World Cup game yesterday, the film remained unaffected. However, the word of mouth of the film is pretty mixed and it will be interesting to see how it now pans out at the Box Office. Meanwhile Salman Khan tweeted and thanked his fans for making Bharat his biggest opener to date.
