‘Project Runway’ designer killed at Utah No Kings protest

Police have identified the “innocent bystander” who was shot and killed during a Salt Lake City protest on Saturday as Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, a fashion designer who appeared on season 17 of "Project Runway.” The Samoan designer was hit by a stray bullet shot by a man believed to be a "peacekeeping" volunteer at the demonstration who reportedly opened fire after a man identified as Arturo Roberto Gamboa allegedly ran towards the crowd with an AR-15 and ignored commands to lower his weapon. The terrifying incident unfolded around 8 p.m. near South State Street sending a crowd of more than 10,000 people running for their lives as gunshots rang out, according to local reports.Ah Loo was rushed to the hospital where he tragically died while Gamboa was arrested on suspicion of murder and treated for a minor bullet wound.
