Defense Secretary Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chair Caine on U.S. Military Operations in the Middle East

Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Dan Caine briefed reporters on U.S. combat operations against Iran, and on the identities of the latest U.S. soldiers killed in the Middle East conflict. Secretary Hegseth gave no timeline for U.S. military involvement in the conflict to end, saying "our will is endless," that American forces were ready and capable to operate in the region for as long as necessary, and that he wanted to ensure all of President Trump's military options remained viable for as long as necessary. The two leaders also took some questions from reporters, mostly on the timeline of U.S. involvement in the conflict.
