The rhinos once belonged to the world’s largest rhino farm but it fell into financial difficulties and put the animals up for auction. There were no bids so South African NGO African Parks stepped in, buying the farm and the animals with the promise of rewilding them all. They’ll be released over the next 10 years in national parks across the continent.
