McDonald's is set to introduce Krispy Kreme donuts at its fast-food outlets across the US. The donuts will be launched by the end of 2026, following a successful trial run in Kentucky and Indiana last year. The partnership will offer three varieties of Krispy Kreme donuts, available for purchase individually or in boxes of six. The donuts set to launch at McDonald's include glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced with cream filling varieties. This move aims to bolster McDonald's breakfast and coffee sales, intensifying competition with Starbucks and Dunkin'. The rollout will significantly increase Krispy Kreme's presence in the US, with franchise owners deciding whether to offer the donuts. This strategic collaboration signals McDonald's shift in its breakfast bakery offerings after discontinuing certain items last year. Similarly, the fast-food industry has seen other collaborations, such as Wendy's selling Cinnabon treats nationwide.
