Kochi: The High Court of Kerala on Tuesday ordered against staging protests at Sannidhanam and declared to continue with the prohibitory order. The HC division bench clarified that the police can conduct inspections respectfully. The court criticized the police action beyond the limit, referring to the latter's move to shut shelter places. The bench also questioned the police instruction to close annadhana-prasada counters at 10pm. Special arrangements must be made at Nadappanthal for women, children and specially-abled pilgrims. Barricades can be put in place to separate those pilgrims resting at nadapanthal and those walking around. KSRTC buses must conduct consistent service.
