Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-OR), and House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Maxine Waters (D-CA) joined other lawmakers to protest Elon Musk's access to the Treasury Department. They spoke at a rally hosted by MoveOn Civic Action, Indivisible, and the Working Families Party. House and Senate lawmakers passionately expressed concerns about Elon Musk's access to the treasury and touted their duty to use congressional oversight as rallygoers chanted for lawmakers to shut down the Senate among other chants.
