A Hitchin-based care home resident has had his dreams come true, after a legendary British jockey sent him a personalised video message Alf, 83, a resident at Foxholes Care Home, was left speechless when his idol Lester Piggott spoke to him. The uplifting surprise was part of the family-run Hitchin care home's Wish Upon a Star campaign, which seeks to find out its residents' idols and connect them.
