July 19, 2021 Frameworks of Inclusive Competition (Institutional, leadership) This first Session will explore the general discussion surrounding the role Antitrust should play in addressing social issues such as unequal pay, discrimination, unequal access, gender gaps, racial issues, and more. Panelists will discuss the role of enforcement agencies in adapting to and supporting the trend towards greater inclusion, the barriers and challenges they face, and the conceptual limits to what Antitrust should – in the views of both proponents and critics of an ‘activist’ approach – or should not consider in practice in order to maintain objectivity.
