Hurricane Debby: Cocaine Worth $1M Washes Up On Florida Beach.

Hurricane Debby has made landfall in Florida, and among the debris that washed up shore was a huge stack of cocaine worth over $1 million. US Border Patrol acting chief, Samuel Briggs II, shared the news online with a picture of the illicit drugs. The packages washed up at a beach in Florida Keys after Debby caused extreme destruction, with heavy winds and rainfall. It was discovered by one of the volunteers, who quickly alerted the authorities. Beggs confirmed that 25 packets have been seized so far. The packages allegedly floated upstream from Caribbean drug transit hubs, where drugs are trafficked from South America to various parts of the world. This comes shortly after approximately 65 pounds of cocaine was found 100 feet underwater off the recreational borders of Key West.
