Heat: Disaster Management Authority Issues Red Alert| Mathrubhumi News

T'puram: As the mercury levels keep soaring, the state is under high-risk of sunburn and sun strokes. The temperatures will rise above normal by three degree Celsius in twelve districts of the state and the situation is likely to continue till Saturday, Indian Meteorological Department reports. Following the unusual heat recorded in the state, the Kerala Disaster Management Authority has issued a red alert and advised extreme caution.
