Captain Luis Avila, a U.S. Army veteran, was severely wounded by an IED explosion during an Afghanistan deployment. Now, he uses music as a therapy toward physical healing. Avila sang “God Bless America” in front of President Trump at the White House Monday morning. At the end of the song, Trump walked over with open arms and embraced the soldier and his family.
