Viral: Stampede in Hyderabad as fans jostle for India Vs Australia match tickets; 6 hurt

The India versus Australia match frenzy led to a stampede-like situation in Hyderabad. This comes after cricket lovers turned up in huge numbers to purchase match tickets. The Hyderabad Cricket Association(HCA) had decided to sell offline tickets at Gymkhana Grounds, but it doesn't look like they had anticipated the crazy response. Claims of people lining up since 5 AM in the morning were made on social media platforms. But the situation went out of hand when the counters opened, as thousands of fans were seen jostling to get their hands on the match tickets. This resulted in a stampede-like situation, injuring at least half a dozen people. The Hyderabad police have accused the HCA of not making proper arrangements. Watch this report for more details.
