This is the world's largest telescope array that can detect pulsars

This is the world's largest telescope array for studying the Sun, and its relationship with Earth. The Daocheng Solar Radio Telescope consists of 313 dishes in a 3.14-km circumference circle. Located on a plateau in SW China,it has detected its first pulsar: a spinning and dying neutron star. Pulsars and coronal mass ejections can interfere with power grids, telecommunications and satellites orbiting Earth.
